The privately owned Propergation Group was founded by the late Lambertus van Zyl in the late 1980s. Lambertus van Zyl had been the heart and mind behind various commercial property developments in the Tygervalley and Hermanus areas for the last 25 years. The unfortunate passing of Lambertus van Zyl during April 2018 necessitated some changes and direction going forward. Francois le Roux, the current CFO, being with the group since 2007, was appointed as the new managing director during 2018. The Propergation Group even though founded as a pure investment property portfolio is now looking to diversify its investments going forward.

Objective
The current objective is to limit the Group's exposure to non-core properties and focus is to dispose of certain non-core properties in the near short term. The lion's share of the Group's investment is in commercial property, however the Group is now actively looking to diversify its investments in either quality commercial properties or other investments which can deliver consisted returns in the long run.

The Propergation Group has been partnering with the Propergation Management team for the last 25 years.
